We are a powerful, national coalition of civil society organizations (CSOs) united by a single, urgent purpose: the total eradication of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and other harmful practices across Kenya.
FGM/C remains a significant barrier to the health, rights, and sustainable development of women and girls, affecting an estimated 15% of the female population in Kenya. Despite existing legal frameworks like the Prohibition Against FGM Act 2011, deep-rooted cultural norms continue to perpetuate this violence.
We bridge the gap between policy and practice by fostering accountability among national and county duty-bearers.
We empower grassroots organizations to lead community-specific education that shifts social norms and promotes positive behaviors.
We coordinate a nationwide, survivor-centered movement that prioritizes the dignity, healing, and human rights of every girl and woman.
By pooling our resources, expertise, and community reach, we are galvanizing a collective force to ensure that the promise of ending FGM by 2030 becomes a reality.
